Are You A Good Candidate For Pectoral Implants?

Pectoral Implants

Are You A Good Candidate For Pectoral Implants? All men desire fuller and athletic looking chests. They follow strict exercise regimens and diets for achieving this attribute. However, factors like growth defects, genetics, and medical conditions may deter their efforts for achieving a sculpted and toned chest.

Fortunately, pec implant surgery offers a viable solution. Pec implant surgery is a popular aesthetic procedure for men. This involves placement of a solid silicone implant under the pectoral muscles for creating a well-proportionated and sculpted masculine torso.

Pectoral implants are made of solid silicone. They go a long way in creating an athletic looking chest. Pec implant procedure enhances the bulk of the chest muscles. This provides for a thicker and fuller appearance. Pectoral implants can greatly improve a man’s confidence by feeling remarkably natural.

Board certified plastic surgeon Dr. Gary Motykie provides pectoral implants surgery to patients in Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, Los Angeles, and surrounding communities.

Candidacy for Pectoral Implants Surgery

You are likely to considered as a good candidate for the pec implants plastic surgery procedure if you:

  • Are not happy with the lack of definition in your pecs
  • Are looking to enhance volume in the pectoral area
  • Have an underdeveloped chest
  • Don’t have symmetrical development of chest muscles
  • Lack the kind of muscles that can enlarge with exercise
  • Are in optimal health for handling recovery and procedure
  • Have realistic expectations and are emotionally stable

It’s judicious to discuss cosmetic goals and expectations with your surgeon once your candidature is determined. Experienced surgeons help attain patient goals by offering custom chest implants. Pec implant cosmetic surgery can help achieve a toned and sculpted look.

Lifestyle and Health

Your lifestyle and health play an important factor in determining whether you should get pectoral implants or not. Do you suffer from health conditions that may impact your recovery negatively? Are you a smoker? Are you obese or overweight? Do you take herbal or vitamin supplements or daily medications? Your surgeon will ask all these questions and determine whether you make for a good fit or not.

Setting Realistic Expectations

Your mental state is another important factor in determining your candidacy for pectoral implant surgery. It is important that you remain pragmatic about what the surgery can or cannot achieve. Recovery can take as long as six weeks. You may not be able to participate in sports or heavy lift. The goal of a pec implant surgery is to provide a natural, larger, and masculine looking chest.

Scheduling an In-depth Consultation

Men that have tried different techniques for improving their chest size without successful results make great candidates for pectoral implant surgeries. The procedure would be performed under anesthesia and the results would be permanent and immediate.

Schedule a consultation with a skilled and experienced plastic surgeon if you are ready to improve the structure of your chest. Your doctor would answer all your questions during the consultation. They will also determine whether you make an eligible candidate for the procedure or not.
