Pectoral Implant

What To Expect During Your Pectoral Implant Consultation?Pectoral implants surgery can be customized to a great degree. Your cosmetic surgeon would provide you with a comprehensive consultation to evaluate your candidacy. Your doctor would measure your pectoralis muscles and take your health history at the initial consultation.

The doctor will understand your expectations and decide whether you make a good candidate or not for the procedure. You should openly communicate with the surgeon during the pre-operative consultation for understanding different components of the cosmetic surgery procedure.

Board certified plastic surgeon Dr. Gary Motykie provides pectoral implants surgery to patients in Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, Los Angeles, and surrounding locations.

Communicate Your Aesthetic Goals

Your cosmetic surgeon would first try to understand your aesthetic goals. They would want to identify the various aspects of your chest area that bother you. They would also ask about your various reasons for choosing to have a pec implant plastic surgery performed. It’s vital that you share your goals clearly. The doctor will then create a customized male chest implant surgery plan for meeting your specific goals.

Past Medical Records

The surgeon would want to know your current state of health. They would want to collect information about your health history. Prior to your initial consultation, you should make arrangements to have the medical records sent from the physician’s office or hospital to the surgeon’s office directly.

You should also reveal all pertinent information about any preexisting medical conditions. This is especially true for autoimmune disorders, allergies, and heart or neurological diseases. The surgeon is able to plan for a smoother procedure and make the right decision regarding your candidacy for the surgery.

Disclose All Medications

Let the surgeon know about the medications you have taken, such as prescription drugs, OTC drugs, herbal supplements, or vitamins. You should also provide all information about alcohol consumption and smoking since that can be relevant to the surgeon planning your procedure.

Look at Testimonials and Pictures
