Patient Testimonial: Sophia – Corrective Body Sculpting, Liposuction

One of the common aesthetic concerns for both women and men is sagging skin and excess fat deposits in certain areas of the body. The typical areas that are impacted by this condition include the abdomen, thighs, buttocks, groin, breasts, or upper arms. In some cases, the presence of cellulite may also cause poor aesthetic appeal in certain areas. These conditions can be corrected with plastic surgery procedures such as body contouring, or liposuction or a combination of the two.

It is important to choose a well-qualified and experienced surgeon for such procedures in order to achieve desirable outcomes. Dr. Gary Motykie is a board certified plastic surgeon with expertise in body sculpting and contouring procedures. Due to his wide recognition as a cosmetic surgeon and his highly successful track record of results, Dr. Motykie receives patients from Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, Los Angeles, and many other areas in the country and even internationally.

    Patient Testimonial – Sophia

Sophia had received body sculpting plastic surgery in the past, but remained dissatisfied with the results. She felt she had only lost her time and money and gone through an elaborate procedure in vain. Thereafter, she decided to make her choice of a plastic surgeon more carefully. She checked out several websites of eminent surgeons and compared and reviewed them in order to make a better informed choice.

Sophia finally decided to open the door to body contouring and liposuction surgery with the leading cosmetic surgeon, Dr. Motykie. She explained her condition of stubborn fat deposits in the lower body and thigh area. Even though she followed fitness regimen and a healthy lifestyle, but the excess fat pockets and loose skin would not improve with these efforts.

Sophia was struck by the honesty and truthfulness of Dr. Motykie, which was unlike her previous experience. He made her understand the procedures clearly, and rather than build false hopes, he ensured that she had realistic expectations from the surgery before making a final decision about it. Dr. Motykie also advised her about the potential recovery period, which would be about a week.

Final results of body contouring and liposuction for Sophia were highly satisfying. She felt comfortable with the compassionate and caring approach of Dr. Motykie throughout the procedure. In addition to the improved physical appearance, she experienced a new confidence and self-esteem, and was able to get rid of her insecurities. Initial results were very positive, and Dr. Motykie assured her that the results would get even better over the next three months.

    Body Contouring

Dr. Motykie may recommend a single body contouring procedure or a group of procedures, depending on the aesthetic needs of a patient. Some of the key body contouring surgeries include:

    • Abdominoplasty (Tummy Tuck)
    • Revision Abdominoplasty
    • Arm Lift
    • Body Lift
    • Brazillian Butt Lift (Fat Grafting to Buttocks)
    • Fat Transfer
    • Mommy Makeover
    • Liposuction
    • Thigh Lift

Loose or sagging skin can be tightened with body contouring surgery in areas such as thighs or hips, to reshape the body part and produce a smoother, more toned appearance.

Dr. Motykie on The Doctor’s TV Show: What You Need to Know About Your Breast Implants – Warranties, News & FAQ’s

Breast implant surgery is the second-most popular cosmetic surgery procedure in the US today after liposuction. Breast implants qualities have improved dramatically over the years following the FDA approvals, surgical techniques have become advanced, and overall success rates are very high.

However, a breast augmentation patient will typically need to replace the implants once or more during her lifetime. The implant may get damaged or develop other complications due to a variety of reasons, which makes it necessary to remove or replace it with breast revision surgery.

    Case of Darlene, Pleasanton, CA

Darlene, 47, had received saline breast implants nine years ago, when she suffered an implant rupture in 2012. She was in extreme pain, and rushed to her plastic surgeon who refused to treat her unless she agreed to pay for the breast revision procedure. Being a single parent with no spare money at her disposal at that time, Darlene was caught in a sudden health crisis, and writhed in unbearable pain.

After meeting Dr. Gary Motykie via The Doctor’s TV Show, she decided to ask him for help. Dr. Motykie received Darlene with compassion, and explained to her the critical importance of knowing about the quality of her implants, and the status of warranties on implants.

Dr. Motykie surprised Darlene with his willingness to provide her a breast revision surgery free of charge. Following the procedure, he discussed with Darlene about the importance of breast implant warranties so that in the future she would be more aware in the event of a health emergency involving her implants.

Why do Breast Implant Warranties Matter?

Breast implants are available in two primary types: saline and silicone gel implants. The outer shell of the implants in both cases is made of a firm silicone material. One of the challenges with breast implants is that one or both implants may get damaged or ruptured at some point, or develop a condition called capsular contracture at some point of time in the future.

The precise causes for this condition remain unknown, but it usually requires implant replacement. In some cases, the implant may become misaligned or mal-positioned, if not damaged. The only way to correct this condition is to have the breast implants removed or replaced with new implants, which involves breast revisions surgery. Sometimes the patient may require a voluntary replacement of implants due to a change in aesthetic preferences.

With an adequate implant warranty, the patient is secure about the future option of getting breast implants replaced without having to pay for them again. Most implant manufacturers offer warranties with minor variations in their terms and conditions.

Facial Rejuvenation with Rhinoplasty, Neck Lipo, Facial Fat Grafting

Facial Rejuvenation with Rhinoplasty, Neck Lipo, Facial Fat Grafting

Face is the most prominent part of the body from an aesthetic perspective. It is also the most complex because of multiple facial features and components that must appear in balance and harmony with each other to produce an attractive facial appearance. However, aging, hereditary factors, weight loss or gain, and other reasons can compromise the facial features, which may be corrected with plastic surgery.

Dr. Gary Motykie is a leading board certified plastic surgeon providing innovative and advanced surgical and non-surgical procedures for the face. Sometimes Dr. Motykie may combine multiple procedures to achieve most desirable outcomes for his patients. As an experienced cosmetic surgeon, Dr. Motykie receives patients from Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, Los Angeles, and surrounding communities.

    Patient Testimonial – Micah

Micah had been unhappy with the appearance of his nose, and wished to improve its shape in order to enhance the overall facial balance and proportion. He decided to look for a suitable nose surgeon, and was recommended the name of Dr. Motykie by his sister who had received a revision procedure from Dr. Motykie with outstanding results.

Micah met Dr. Motykie for a consultation, and explained his aesthetic need to improve the shape of his nose with plastic surgery. Dr. Motykie encouraged him to discuss his facial aesthetic concerns frankly and made him feel assured about the procedures. The patient also mentioned about his concerns about eye bags and general signs of aging on the face.

As an experienced cosmetic surgeon, Dr. Motykie recommended rhinoplasty along with facial fat grafting and neck liposuction to achieve most comprehensive and desirable results for the patient. Micah’s family was concerned about whether the essential integrity and identity of the face would remain intact after the procedures. Dr. Motykie took pictures of the face prior to the procedure and after the procedure. The results made the patient as well as his family very pleased.

Dr. Motykie knows from experience that any changes to key facial features such as the nose must be carried out in relation to the rest of the face and neck, and not in isolation. Patients in Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, Los Angeles, and nearby areas have an opportunity to receive state of the art procedures from Dr. Motykie.

Dr. Motykie offers the following major facial surgery procedures according to the unique aesthetic needs of a patient:

Here is the breakdown for all Primary Augmentation and Primary Reconstruction patients who experience capsular contracture*, late Seroma or double capsule:

Standard Warranty: $0 Charge to Patient

3 year warranty for capsular contracture (Bake Grade III/IV), late seroma and double capsule.  Mentor will provide TWO free replacement implants for these patients (the affected side and the contralateral side).

Enhanced Warranty: $200 Charge to Patient (payment within 45 days of surgery)

10 year warranty for capsular contracture (Bake Grade III/IV), late seroma and double capsule.  Mentor will provide TWO free implants for these patients in addition to up to $3,500 of financial assistance.

More info is also available at: www.mentorwwllc.com.  Patients can register for the Enhanced Warranty at www.mentordirect.com/warranty.

*Capsular contracture is when the natural scar tissue that forms around the implant thickens, hardens or begins to shrink (or contract) around the implant, making the implant feel hard. This can cause the implant to appear and feel hard, change shape and often become painful. This condition can also result from an implant rupture. If your breast shape changes, becomes suddenly painful or hard, you may have an implant rupture. You should make an appointment with your plastic surgeon, who may send you for an ultrasound or MRI to rule out implant rupture and/or capsular contracture.

    Breast Implant Revision Surgery

    Breast Implant Revision Surgery

Breast implant revision surgery may have to be performed if the primary breast augmentation plastic surgery has resulted in unsatisfactory outcomes, or one or both implants have developed capsular contracture or related irregularities. A revision procedure may be typically more complex as compared to the original surgery. Therefore, it must be performed by an experienced cosmetic surgeon with expertise in breast revision procedures.

Board certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Gary Motykie, provides breast implant revision surgery and various other surgical and non-surgical aesthetic procedures in a state of the art environment at his practice. Dr. Motykie receives patients from Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, Los Angeles, and surrounding areas.

    Patient Testimonial – Leitecia

Leitecia had undergone breast augmentation surgery to enhance her breast size. However, after a point of time, she began to experience persistent discomfort and pain in the breast area, the back, and neck. She visited Dr. Motykie for a consultation about what might be wrong with her condition. Due to his extensive experience in the area of breast augmentation and breast revision procedures, Dr. Motykie was quickly able to diagnose the problem of a ruptured breast implant.

The breast capsule around the implant had hardened up, which was hurting the patient. Dr. Motykie explained the condition to the patient and told her about the symptoms she might be experiencing due to this. The patient was immediately able to note that Dr. Motykie was mentioning the very symptoms that she had been experiencing. He assured the patient that this was happening due to capsular contracture, and the problem would go away immediately after a change of the breast implant.

    Outstanding Bedside Manner

Leitecia found Dr. Motykie to be a warm and friendly cosmetic surgeon, who immediately calmed her down and assured her that everything would be fine soon. He scheduled a breast revision procedure as per the patient’s needs and created a customized treatment plan. The patient was involved in every decision about her body in order to achieve results matching to her innate requirements. Dr. Motykie paid careful attention to the patient at every stage of the procedure and engaged with her personally.

Following the procedure the patient reported satisfactory healing, and expressed happiness about her natural looking, safe, and desirable results. The healing was smooth, and scarring was normal, which would begin subsiding in about two weeks after the plastic surgery. Patients in Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, Los Angeles, and nearby locations have an opportunity to receive breast revision and other procedures from Dr. Motykie.

    Surgeon’s Skills

Dr. Motykie has a successful track record of correcting problems in breast augmentation surgery for patients who may develop capsular contracture or other problems with the breast implants. Revision breast implant procedure is largely dependent on the skills, judgment, and experience of the plastic surgeon who performs the procedure.

Dr. Motykie has been performing revision breast surgeries on patients from all over the country and even abroad. Some of the common revision surgeries for the breasts performed by Dr. Motykie include breast implant exchange, replacing ruptured or old implants, improving implant location, or correcting breast symmetry or shape.

Otoplasty (Ear Surgery) Before and After Photos

Otoplasty (Ear Surgery) Before and After Photos

Otoplasty Before After Photos | Ear Surgery | Beverly Hills CAEar Surgery, clinically called otoplasty, is a plastic surgery procedure designed to correct the shape of ears to make them appear more harmonious with other facial features. It is important for a patient to understand the procedure correctly in order to make an informed decision about choosing otoplasty.

And experienced cosmetic surgeon will usually provide otoplasty before and after photographs during the initial consultation to help explain the procedure. Dr. Gary Motykie is a board certified plastic surgeon offering otoplasty and other surgical and non-surgical procedures. Dr. Motykie receives patients from Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, Los Angeles, and nearby communities.

What are Otoplasty Before and After Pictures?

Before and after pictures in case of otoplasty plastic surgery refer to a set of images belonging to an earlier patient who has received the same procedure with a successful outcome. The set includes images taken prior to the surgery and following the surgery at a time when swelling has disappeared and full effects of otoplasty are visible clearly.

The cosmetic surgeon will take these pictures with the consent of the patient, and present them before new patients in a discreet manner. The only goal of the surgeon is to educate new patients about various aspects of otoplasty with the help of these photos. Patients in Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, Los Angeles, and nearby communities have an opportunity to receive otoplasty from Dr. Motykie.

    Advantages

When a candidate is considering ear surgery, they may only have a vague notion of how the procedure may improve the appearance of their ears and how it will impact the overall facial profile. In some cases, the surgeon may recommend otoplasty in combination with another facial procedure to produce more harmonious outcomes. Techniques of otoplasty may vary depending on the specific condition of ears.

In all these situations, it can be confusing for a patient to make the right choices. This is where the plastic surgeon can help by providing otoplasty before and after photos. The photos will serve as a visual aid, and the patient will understand what the procedure can or cannot do for them.

    Forming Realistic Expectations

One of the first concerns of a surgeon is to ensure that the candidate for otoplasty has clear aesthetic priorities, a positive frame of mind, and realistic expectations. Such patients will typically achieve higher satisfaction levels from the surgery. With the help of otoplasty before and after pictures, the surgeon can ensure that the patient knows what to expect and what not to expect from the surgery.

This will mitigate the risk of any disappointment or misunderstanding occurring at a later stage for the patient. Experienced surgeons encourage patients to ask questions and clarify all their doubts before taking a decision to go ahead with the procedure.

    Photos on the Website

The surgeon has an option to provide otoplasty before and after pictures on their practice website. A new patient can simply access and review pictures on the site in the privacy of their home or office, and formulate a credible idea about otoplasty even before they decide to visit the surgeon’s office for a consultation.

    Otoplasty (Ear Surgery) Cost

Build My Bod | Get a Quote Now!

    Otoplasty (Ear Surgery) Cost

Otoplasty Cost | Ear Surgery | Beverly Hills | Los Angeles CAOtoplasty, commonly known as ear surgery, is a procedure aimed at correcting the shape or size of the ear in balance with the rest of the face. The procedure may be performed on children with well developed ears or on adults. Otoplasty is a fairly simple plastic surgery procedure, but even the slightest aberration in the ears can show conspicuously and impact the overall facial appearance. Therefore, it should be performed by an experienced surgeon only.

Dr. Gary Motykie is a leading cosmetic surgeon providing otoplasty and other procedures. During the initial consultation, Dr. Motykie will discuss various aspects of the surgery, including its estimated costs. His goal is to help the patient make a well informed choice. Dr. Motykie receives patients from Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, Los Angeles, and surrounding communities.

    Cost Factors

The cost of otoplasty plastic surgery can differ from one practice to another due to several factors.

    Practice Location

Where the practice is located can make a significant impact on the overall price tag of the procedure. The living cost index can vary from one place to another, which will influence the average prices of most types of goods and services, including cosmetic surgery procedures. For instance, the dollar amount of otoplasty in Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, Los Angeles, and nearby areas may not necessarily be the same as the price in, say, Ohio.

    Surgeon’s Fee

The fee charged by the cosmetic surgeon will form a significant part of the overall cost. This fee may depend on the qualifications, experience and recognition of the surgeon in the field of otoplasty and other procedures. According to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), a patient should choose the right surgeon for their needs, and factors such as the surgeon’s fee should only be a secondary consideration in such a decision.

    Anesthesia and Surgical Room Costs

Otoplasty is usually performed under local anesthesia and IV sedation, but in some cases, general anesthesia may be used. The dollar amount issued by the anesthesiologist can vary according to their skills and experience. Surgical room costs can differ depending on the type of technologies, experienced staff, and personalized services offered at a particular facility.

    Insurance and Finance

Correction for certain types of birth defects that result in severely misshaped ears may be covered under the patient’s health policy. Deformities that adversely impact hearing or may have been caused due to injury may also be covered under some plans. Other patients will have the option to have the procedure financed through professional medical care finance firms, or press the button for credit card payments, crowdsourcing, family borrowings, or bank loans.

    What is Otoplasty (Ear Surgery)?

    What is Otoplasty (Ear Surgery)?

Otoplasty | Ear Surgery | Plastic Surgeon | Beverly Hills Otoplasty, commonly known as ear surgery, is a plastic surgery procedure designed to reshape one or both ears in proportion to the rest of the face. Protruding, asymmetrical or drooping ears can be corrected easily with this outpatient surgery. Earlobe reduction and re-contouring excess skin and cartilage may also be performed as a part of the surgery.

Dr. Gary Motykie is an experienced cosmetic surgeon providing otoplasty and other surgical and non-surgical aesthetic procedures. Dr. Motykie receives patients from Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, Los Angeles, and surrounding communities.

    Benefits

With otoplasty procedure, patients can expect to enjoy several benefits. This plastic surgery procedure is relatively safer and involves minimal risk. A wide range of aesthetic imperfections of the teeth can be corrected with otoplasty. Children who suffer teasing by peers can get the condition corrected at an early age. Self esteem and confidence of the patient will improve.

Scarring with otoplasty is minimal once healing is completed. The downtime involved in this surgery is low, and most patients will recover within a week. Results are natural looking and can be customized according to the specific aesthetic needs of the patient. Leading cosmetic surgeon, Dr. Motykie provides this surgery to patients in Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, Los Angeles, and nearby locations.

    Good Candidates

Children or adults who are unhappy with the shape, size or appearance of one or both ears may benefit from otoplasty. Children who wish to avoid being teased by their friends at school, and adults who are unhappy or over-conscious about the unsightly or disproportionate look of their ears can make fantastic candidates for this procedure. Individuals who have experienced trauma to their ears may also receive aesthetic restoration of the ear shape with otoplasty.

Ear Pinning and Other Otoplasty Techniques

This procedure begins with the surgeon making an incision behind the ear. The cartilage is reshaped and the excess skin is removed through the incision. The ear may be repositioned closer to the head. If the patient suffers from protruding ears, the surgeon may use the ear pinning technique to position the ears closer to the sides of the head. Ear pinning includes cartilage sparing, skin removal from the back of the ear, and scoring techniques.

Cartilage scoring or cutting techniques involve incisions in the cartilage to add, remove or rearrange the tissue. Scarring may occur, but it will remain largely invisible in this technique. In the cartilage sparing technique, the surgeon will make use of sutures to change the shape and position of the ears. Cartilage sparing is a non-invasive technique, which can provide smooth, natural looking curvatures without the risk of scarring.

    Reconstructive Otoplasty

Reconstructive otoplasty may be recommended when ear-related injuries or deformities need to be addressed. Congenital birth defects of the ear such as Microtia may be corrected with reconstructive otoplasty. Injuries to the ears, such as burns, lacerations, and torn piercings can be addressed with a reconstructive procedure. It combines various surgical techniques to rebuild a natural looking human ear. Cartilage or skin graft may also be used in this procedure.
