How Much Does A Non-Surgical Liquid Facelift Cost?

Non-Surgical Liquid Facelift

Your plastic surgeon may recommend a liquid facelift if you want to enhance your facial appearance without undergoing a surgical procedure. The treatment is highly customizable to accommodate a wide array of facial rejuvenation goals. However, it is important that you get your injectables from a dedicated cosmetic surgeon or another experienced treatment provider.

Your treatment provider will discuss various aspects of the procedure during the initial consultation. This will involve all estimated costs depending on your aesthetic needs and goals. Make sure to ask as many questions as you can think of to help make a well-informed choice.

Board certified plastic surgeon Dr. Gary Motykie provides non-surgical liquid facelift to patients in Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, Los Angeles, and surrounding communities.

Cost Factors of Liquid Facelift

Cost of getting a liquid facelift can vary significantly from one patient to another. This is because the procedure is highly customizable. These are a few factors on which the overall costs depend:

Geographical Location

Location of the practice where you get the treatment plays a vital role in the estimated sticker price. This is because cost of living index affects the cost of plastic surgery and other medical treatments. The dollar figure of liquid facelift in Cincinnati may be vastly different from what the procedure costs in New York.

Skill and Expertise of Provider

Another major cost factor is the experience, skill, and reputation of the treatment provider. Liquid facelift may be a non-invasive injectable procedure, but it does involve delicate facial areas. It is important that you don’t place cost as a priority over getting the procedure carried out by a trained expert.

Product Combination

Liquid facelift is usually customized to match the unique needs and aesthetic goals of patients. It typically involves a combination of Dysport or Botox and several facial fillers. This can be Restylane, Juvederm, Radiesse, and Sculptra among others. Different product mixes come with different price tags. The quality and quantity of the components also play a major role in the overall costs.

Average Liquid Facelift Costs

Liquid facelift procedures can cost differently depending on the type of injectables used. For instance, the cost of treatment will go up significantly if Botox or Dysport is used. The actual average costs will also depend on the various factors as discussed above.

However, it’s crucial that you ask the treatment provider for a cost breakup. Few providers don’t charge a consultation fee separately and include it with the overall procedure cost. Costs of maintenance and touch-up procedures will be drastically lower than the first initial procedure. You may not have to pay for several repeat treatments, especially if you have the results maintained regularly.

Options for Insurance and Financing

Liquid facelift is usually not included in regular medical coverage. However, you can explore the many financing options offered by professional medical care finance companies. Credit card payments and monthly installments are other options.

How Long Does a Liquid Facelift Last?

Liquid Facelift

An increasing number of people are opting for liquid facelifts because of the various benefits involved. Your cosmetic surgeon may recommend the procedure if you want to look more youthful and rested without wanting a full facelift. However, the treatment is non-surgical, which means the results will eventually fade away.

During your initial consultation, your treatment provider will explain how long you can expect the results of a liquid facelift to last. Board certified plastic surgeon Dr. Gary Motykie provides non-surgical liquid facelift to patients in Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, Los Angeles, and surrounding locations.

Components of a Liquid Facelift

Liquid facelift is recommended for people that have begun noticing smile lines, wrinkles or unsightly crow’s feet around their eyes and don’t want to get an invasive plastic surgery performed. There are several types of facial fillers and muscle immobilizing agents injected during a liquid facelift.

More popular ones are:

  • Botox: This is a popular and common substance to treat wrinkles, fine lines, and creases. Botox temporarily paralyzes the underlying muscles responsible for contracting skin. This allows the skin to look smoother.
  • Restylane: This is a type of dermal filler which helps in reducing wrinkles. It is also useful in enhancing lip pouts.
  • Kybella: This is a unique and innovative product focused on reducing a double chin.
  • Juvederm: This is one of the more popular and recently approved FDA products. This injectable filler can be used for reducing fine lines and wrinkles along with reducing some types of scarring as well.
  • Sculptra: This injectable helps in activating and stimulating the body’s collagen production. Collagen is responsible for giving your skin its volume, structure, and tightness.

Your plastic surgeon may recommend other dermal fillers in addition to the ones mentioned above. These may include Artefill, Belotero, and Radiesse among others.

Longevity of Liquid Facelift Results

The duration of results depend greatly on the type of product chosen. You need to understand that any change made to your face in a non-invasive method will gradually fade away. However, you can expect the results to last for anywhere from 3 – 12 months if a hyaluronic acid based product is injected.

Liquid facelifts tend to offer longer lasting results because most dermal fillers include hyaluronic acid. This is a naturally occurring substance in the body and less likely to be rejected as opposed to animal-based products. You can make the results last longer with repeated treatments. This will cause the facial filler to stagger and stay within your skin for a longer period of time.

This is how different products fare against the test of time:

  • Juvederm – Up to 1 year
  • Botox – 4 months
  • Kybella – Often permanent results
  • Restylane – Up to 9 months
  • Sculptra – Up to 2 years

Common Target Areas

These are common facial areas where dermal fillers as part of a liquid facelift are applied:

  • Eyebrows and forehead
  • Cheeks
  • Corners of the mouth
  • Lips
  • Nasolabial folds
  • Temples

What is a Non-Surgical Liquid Facelift?

Non-Surgical Liquid Facelift

Aesthetically speaking, your face is one of the most important body parts. Unfortunately, it may begin to lose its charm and youthful appearance with sun exposure, aging, environment, diseases and genetics among other factors. Folds, lines, creases, and wrinkles may begin to appear, making you appear older than you really are.

Your plastic surgeon can recommend a number of plastic surgery procedures to reverse these signs of aging from the face. Liquid facelift is increasingly becoming popular as a non-surgical procedure to rejuvenate the facial appearance and reduce overall signs of aging. However, it is important that you get the procedure performed by a reputable and experienced provider.

Board certified plastic surgeon Dr. Gary Motykie provides non-surgical liquid facelift to patients in Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, Los Angeles, and surrounding communities.

Effective Non-Invasive Option

Liquid facelift can help rejuvenate the face and restore your youthful appearance. It is an innovative non-invasive procedure which is often used as a substitute to traditional facelift. Your cosmetic surgeon may recommend the procedure for you if you are unable or unwilling to undergo a traditional surgical procedure for any reason.

Your plastic surgeon will inject a unique combination of muscle immobilizing products and several soft tissue dermal fillers into pre-specified targeted areas. The goal of this procedure is to remove wrinkles, facial lines, fill facial depressions, lift sagging skin, enhance overall features, add facial volume, and correct asymmetries among others.

The procedure can last anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour. This greatly depends on the expertise of the plastic surgeon and the extent of treatment required. Injectable fillers have various benefits. However, the key benefit is that surgery and accompanying downtime is avoided. Side-effects to the procedure are minimal as long as you get it done at the hands of a reputed expert.

What are Injectable Fillers?

Injectable facial fillers are a major part of liquid facelifts. These dermal fillers usually contain a naturally-occurring substance called hyaluronic acid. This substance is responsible for making your skin taut and firm. There are several FDA approved dermal fillers that can replenish the skin’s hyaluronic acid.

Dermal fillers can help your skin produce fresh collagen and support sustainable results where skin firmness is concerned. Restylane and Juvederm dermal fillers are aimed at adding volume to the skin, usually under the eyes and cheek hollows. These dermal fillers are used to rejuvenate facial contours for making a patient appear younger.

You can use facial fillers to reduce crow’s feet, remove marionette lines, elevate jowls, get fuller lips, and plump cheeks. Discuss your customized liquid facelift plan during your consultation with the injection provider.

Muscle Immobilizing Agents

Muscle immobilizing products are used during a liquid facelift in combination with dermal fillers. Dysport or Botox are two popular FDA approved muscle immobilizing agent. They help in reducing frown lines, crow’s feet and other fine lines and wrinkles. These agents offer sustainable results when used in combination with dermal fillers.
