Lip Enhancement Before And After Photos

Lip Enhancement Before And After Photos

Lip Enhancement

Lip enhancement cosmetic surgeries tend to result in thinner and fuller lips. It also helps in enhancing the lip contours. Your surgeon will help you understand the different aspects of lip enhancement during the initial consultation. They may also show you before and after images of patients that underwent a similar procedure.

The primary objective of these photos is for you to understand the procedure so you can make an enlightened decision appropriate to your situaiton. Board certified plastic surgeon Dr. Gary Motykie provides lip enhancement treatments to patients in Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, Los Angeles, and surrounding communities.

Lip Enhancement Before and After Images

Lip enhancement ‘before and after’ images refers to a group of images taken before, during and after the surgery of a previous lip enhancement patient. The patient would have gotten the treatment at the hands of the same treatment provider. There would be images of pre-surgery, post-surgery, and post-recovery when the redness and inflammation have significantly resolved. This is when complete surgical outcome become apparent.

Surgeons need to seek the patient’s approval before using these images. They are also expected to show the images to new patients in a discreet fashion. The identity of any patient cannot be disclosed as per protocol. You can see these pivotal images on Dr. Motykie’s website which have helped so many people make a critical decision in life. No matter what the decision is that you make it will impact your life either way.

The only goal of before and after images is to help new patients develop a very realistic expectation of the procedure and to understand the treatment options. After reviewing the photos, they can make a more confident and educated decision.

Benefits of Before and After Images

New patients thinking of lip enhancement treatment may not have a good understanding of the procedure. They may not realize the extent of difference the procedure may have on their lips and facial appearance. Implants may be suitable to some while others may benefit more from fat transfer injections.

Surgeons may recommend lip enhancement as a combination surgery, such as with cheek lifts for some patients. Patients may not be convinced by the surgeon’s explanations alone in such cases. Looking at visual explanations and results on past patients makes the procedure more realistic. They say a picture speaks a thousand words but how about a digital image? That must speak about three thousand words because digital clarity is how scientists make vital discoveries and how a movie production company makes a spectacular movie, for instance.

What to Expect from Surgery?

The primary objective of any cosmetic surgeon during the pre-op consultation process is to make sure the patient understands the procedure and has a positive mindset. They should have reasonable expectations and concise cosmetic goals.

Lip enhancement before and after images can go a long way in helping the surgeon explain the process and the kind of results to expect to the patient. Patients can form their own detailed understanding of the procedure and things to expect from the procedure. Transparency is vital and this proven plastic surgery clinic does not want anyone to sign any documentation unless they are completely cognizant on what to expect and how this surgery will look on them.

Digital Images on Social Media Platforms (Instagram)

Lip augmentation before and after pictures can be displayed by the surgeon on their Instagram and website. Prospective patients can have a look at these images before setting up pre-op appointments with the surgeon.

What’s just as impressive as digital technology is internet technology. You can see these images from your own bed or from sitting at a coffee shop for the first time. It does not matter where you are, these images can be viewed from anywhere there is internet access with 5G taking over the country, that could in the middle of a desert, for example. On top of this, you can check out these images from anywhere in the world.

Slideshows can go a long way in explaining the procedure and results to patients. The surgeon can also make use of other avant-garde features, such as Instagram Stories to inform patients. Cosmetic surgeon Dr. Gary Motykie receives patients from Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, Los Angeles, and nearby areas for lip enhancement procedure.

How Much Does A Lip Enhancement Cost?

Lip Enhancement Cost

Lip enhancement surgery is focused on improving the appearance of the lips and the face. People with thin lips can benefit from lip enhancement procedures. The treatment provider will discuss various treatment options and their associated costs during the initial consultation. It is important to remember that lips are an aesthetically prominent and sensitive area of your face.

It is safe to work with a qualified and experienced surgeon for your lip cosmetic procedure. Board certified plastic surgeon Dr. Gary Motykie provides lip enhancement treatments to patients in Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, Los Angeles, and surrounding locations.

Lip Implant Surgery Cost

Permanent lip enhancement is possible with a lip implant cosmetic surgery. The procedure also provides better results as opposed to dermal lip fillers and fat transfer. This makes it a salient option for people with thin lips. GORE-TEX, SoftForm, and AlloDerm are few common lip implant options.

Lip implant surgeries tend to be costlier as opposed to dermal filler injections. Implant costs depend on the type and quality of the synthetic implant used. Additionally, the procedure also involves anesthesia costs, surgeon’s fee and surgical facility expenses. In most cases, lip implant surgeries are performed at surgical centers or hospitals. This can add to the overall monetary amount of the procedure.

Lip Enhancement with Fat Transfer Cost

Lip enhancement with fat transfer refers to removing fat from any area of the body and injecting it in the lips. The procedure results in softer and more natural looking lips. The results can last anywhere from six months to a year. Liposuction is done in donor sites for extracting surplus body fat.

The fat tissue is then placed within a centrifugal machine for purification before being injected into the lips. In some cases, the overall cost of lip enhancement with fat transfer may be similar to a lip implant surgery. Anesthesia costs, surgeon’s fee, and surgical facility expenses may also be similar.

However, you can avoid costs related to synthetic implants in this treatment. Results in case of lip implants can be permanent and long term whereas with fat transfer, you may require repeat treatments. This can add to the overall costs in the long run.

Lip Enhancement with Dermal Fillers Cost

The surgeon may suggest injectable lip fillers for candidates that are suitable. Dermal fillers can provide a plump voluptuous look without changing the shape of the lips. There are a wide array of injection techniques and materials related to lip enhancement. There are enough options available to meet the individual needs of the majority of patients.

This is among the most affordable treatment option since it avoids the costs involved with surgery or liposuction. You don’t need to pay for surgical facility expenses or general anesthesia. In addition, the procedure can be performed in-office without the need for sedation.

Unfortunately, dermal fillers only result in temporary results that may last from anywhere between six months to a year. The costs associated with dermal fillers can differ among patients depending on the type, amount and extent of filler gel used.

Lip Augmentation Enhancement Treatments

Lip Augmentation

Your lips can lose their definition and volume due to several factors, such as aging. There are several cosmetic surgery and non-surgical aesthetic treatment options to correct thinning lips and enhance their overall appearance. Plastic and reconstructive surgeons can discuss all the available options with you during the initial consultation.

It is best to evaluate the pros and cons of different lip augmentation treatments with your surgeon during the initial consultation before making a final decision. Board certified plastic surgeon Dr. Gary Motykie provides lip augmentation enhancement treatments to patients in Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, Los Angeles, and surrounding communities.

Lip Implants Plastic Surgery

This particular option should be considered only when you are looking for permanent or long-term results. There are various high quality synthetic lip implants that are used by surgeons. You can discuss all available options with your cosmetic surgeon and choose one that best serves your purpose.

Small incisions are made at the corners in discreet locations to carve out a narrow tunnel. This is where the implants get placed. The plastic surgeon shall thread the lip implant and trim it precisely to the length you desire before closing the incisions.

Lip Augmentation with Fat Transfer

Lip enhancement with fat transfer helps in achieving fuller lips. The procedure involves inserting surplus body tissue to increase the lip volume. The results are more natural looking and can be achieved in a minimally invasive way. By using your own body fat, you can reduce the risk of allergic rejection or reaction. This procedure is usually carried out under local anesthesia.

Dermal Filler Lip Enhancement

Hyaluronic acid based dermal filler injectables, such as Juvederm and Restylane help in giving lips a shapelier and fuller appearance. They are recommended for people that want full lips without getting a plastic surgery.

Dermal fillers are FDA approved and can provide the lip symmetry and balance you desire. Injectables can help by adding more definition to the lips for restoring their youthful appearance. The injections contain smooth and consistent gels that provide real-looking results.

Laser Technique Lip Enhancement

This technique involves the delivery of precise laser energy pulses into the lip mucosa. Heat will help in formation of new collagen by making its way to the underlying tissues creating fuller lips. The shape of natural lips shall remain intact, but you will attain fuller and plumper looking lips.

Patients may require multiple laser therapies for achieving the desired augmentation. You may also need routine maintenance procedures to ensure the fullness and shape of the lips is retained. It is recommended to get maintenance treatment every six months.

Should You Get Lip Augmentation?

It is important that you be a non-smoker in good health before undergoing lip augmentation. Ideal candidates should not have:

  • Diabetes
  • Active infection, such as oral herpes
  • Blood clotting problems
  • Lupus

You should let the plastic surgeon know about any cold sore or oral herpes you may have had in the past. The same holds true if you are allergic to lidocaine. Cosmetic surgeon Dr. Gary Motykie receives patients from Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, Los Angeles, and nearby areas for lip augmentation enhancement procedure.
