Medical Spa | Beverly Hills | West Hollywood | Los AngelesThe Restylane group of injectable fillers is among the most reliable and widely used facial fillers to reduce the signs of aging from the face. The group of fillers includes Restylane, Perlane, Restylane-L, and Perlane-L. The goal of these products is to volumize the facial skin to improve the fullness of the face, and effective reduce moderate to severe wrinkles, lines and folds.

Lip augmentation in patients over 21 years of age may also be performed with Restylane and Restylane-L. Motykie Medical Spa, led by board certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Gary Motykie, provides state of the art non-surgical aesthetic treatments, including Restylane cosmetic fillers. Patients in Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, Los Angeles, and nearby locations who are looking for effective alternatives to surgery may visit the medspa for a consultation.

Hyaluronic Acid Based Fillers

The Restylane family of products has an advantage in terms of its highly safe and biocompatible ingredients. These products are produced from hyaluronic acid, which is found naturally in the human body and helps tighten the skin by stimulating the collagen. The clear gel formulation of this hyaluronic acid is injected into the deeper layers of the skin, where it performs the function of adding volume and fullness to the target areas of the skin and reduces aging signs.

The gel is gradually broken down in a natural way in the body, and causes no adverse reaction. No prior allergy tests are generally required with Restylane injectable treatment. The safety quotient of the products can be gauged from the fact that Restylane and Restylane-L are the only two products that have received the FDA approval for lip augmentation in patients above the age of 21. Motykie Medical Spa experts can provide this treatment to achieve improvement in lip fullness and definition for patients in Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, Los Angeles, and other areas.

Proven Performance

Many of the leading medspa facilities around the world support the use of Restylane facial filler. With more than a decade of successful performance behind it, Restylane is also the world’s most scrutinized wrinkle filler. According to the figures provided by the company, Restylane has been used in over 15 million treatments across 65 countries. The safety profiles of all products in the Restylane family are well defined. The treatments nasolabial folds and moderate to severe facial wrinkles can be performed effectively with Restylane.

How does it Work?

One of the key advantages of Restylane is that it can produce quick results with a simple procedure. The clear gel is injected directly into the targeted areas of the face, using very fine needles. The gel works immediately in the deeper layers of the skin and adds volume to smooth away wrinkles on the surface. The Restylane formulation is specifically designed to act as the body’s own natural hyaluronic acid, which eventually disintegrates naturally.

Restylane-L includes lidocaine, which removes the need for applying any local anesthetic, and the patient can remain comfortable during the treatment. Treatment volume should be restricted to 6 ml in areas such as nasolabial folds, and 1.5 ml in each of the lips.
