Your Mommy Makeover Consultation

Your Mommy Makeover ConsultationPre-operative consultation is a vital component in a major plastic surgery procedure such as mommy makeover. The patient should be prepared to play a proactive part in the consultation, and acquire as clear an understanding about the procedure as possible in order to make the right decisions.

The surgeon will encourage the patient to ask questions, provide her instructions from preparation to recovery, and carefully determine her candidacy for various procedures that may be included in her mommy makeover.

Prolific and percipient cosmetic surgeon Dr. Gary Motykie provides mommy makeover surgery to patients in Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, Los Angeles, and surrounding communities in this area of the nation.

Educating the patient

A committed surgeon’s first concern during the mommy makeover plastic surgery consultation would be to educate the patient on all aspects of the procedure, and help her make a well-considered choice. They will explain the potential benefits and limitations of a mommy makeover, the various steps involved in the procedure, and the estimated recovery period after the surgery.

The surgeon will encourage the patient to make an independent decision about going ahead with a major procedure such as mommy makeover, and not do it under the influence of someone else. Patients who make a carefully deliberated decision will often feel more satisfied and achieve better outcomes from this procedure.

Discussing Treatment Options

Mommy makeover combines multiple procedures in order to create comprehensive results and restore a mom’s pre-pregnancy figure. During the initial consultation, the surgeon will carefully examine the patient’s anatomical aspects and evaluate her personal cosmetic requirements.

Based on this assessment, they will discuss various procedures such as tummy tuck, liposuction, breast augmentation, breast lift, body lift, and certain non-surgical treatment options that may be included as a part of the mommy makeover. A customized surgical plan will be prepared in close consultation with the patient.

Questions and Answers

At the time of consultation, the patient should feel free to ask questions and clarify all her doubts and concerns pertaining to mommy makeover surgery as well as the surgeon’s background. A committed surgeon will provide detailed and accurate answers to satisfy the patient’s concerns in professional manner.

It is a good idea if the patient can note down her questions in advance and carry the list to the surgeon’s office for the mommy makeover consultation. Dedicated and magnificent cosmetic surgeon Dr. Motykie receives patients from Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, Los Angeles, and other suburbs and towns in this part of the west coast for mommy makeover.

Pre- and Post-Op Instructions

The surgeon will utilize the consultation opportunity to give pre- and post-operative care instructions to the patient. The patient should be prepared to follow these instructions diligently in order to have a safe and predictable outcome. Mommy makeover is a major procedure, and the patient’s commitment will help ensure successful results.

Costs and Other Issues

The patient should frankly ask questions about the estimated costs involved in the mommy makeover surgery. The surgeon or their staff may also be able to guide the patient about competitive financing options. Mommy makeover ‘before and after’ photos as well as testimonials of past patients may also be presented during the consultation.

In today’s world, with digital technology, patients can pretty much predict the future since they can see before and after digital pictures of the same surgery and be able to apply what they see to their own body. In some cases, they may decline from having the surgery – that is their right. The patient is the shot caller or the decision maker here but in many cases the patient will be satisfied by what they see and decide to sign up for a mommy makeover.

Digital technology is affordable and makes it extremely easy for businesses to display pictures of all sorts of things. The plastic surgery field is no different and utilizes digital technology all day long. Dr. Motykie’s practice is certainly no different and they have a long list of happy patients.
