Chin Augmentation Procedure
You will be given general or local anesthesia prior the cosmetic surgery. The cosmetic surgeon will begin making incisions once the anesthesia takes full effect. Generally, incisions in a chin augmentation procedure are made beneath the chin or inside/outside the mouth.
The surgeon will carve out a cavity through the incision in front of the chin bone. This is where the implant will be inserted.
